Fox Creek Press: Fox Creek Press Inc., is a non-profit corporation
organized to publish books and other materials relating to the field of
affordable housing community development and environmental conservation and to
dedicate all net proceeds derived from these publications to the support of
non-profit organizations working in these fields.
Fox Creek Press shares office space with other
non-profit organizations on Orange Street in Albany's Sheridan Hollow
neighborhood. It is named in memory of a creek which once flowed as a natural
stream through Sheridan Hollow but has now been forced underground.
Community Realty:
The Community Loan Fund partnered with other housing groups throughout the
region to establish the Capital District Homeownership Collaborative. One of its
first initiatives is Community Realty, a unique non profit real estate company
specializing in first time homebuyers.
Albany County Housing Trust
Fund: The Community Fund was also instrumental is starting the Albany
County Housing Trust Fund, a public-private partnership working to meet
affordable housing needs in the County.
